Sunday Snapshot: Monks in the morning

This was the scene at 5:30AM in Luang Prabang, Laos. Each morning, all of the Buddhist monks in town walk through the streets, where villagers fill their receptacles with sticky rice and other food items. Because the monks are not allowed to work, this is the only way that they receive food to eat every day. It was really inspiring to see the selflessness of the entire town played out on a daily basis.
